[Weeny Machine]

One of the best, maybe THE best, event so far. People do not go nuts for kills and you can play how you want to because you should be able to get 30 points with every chassis (if things do not go really bad).
What I also liked was the the treatbag. Nice idea and the rewards were also very welcome (I even got a mechbay!)Tumbs up, PGI!!!

Games registering is a real problem for me. I played for 3 hours last night (Aussie time) and only have 3 games registered. At least 12 game scores have not been registered 7 hours since closing down the game.

It would again be a great event if you would fix that god damn bug with games not counting and showing up on the tournament overview ... sometimes everything is fine and than i am missing up to hours of played games.

Why do you give players free air/arty strikes? I do not understand what is so fun about GimmickWarriorOnline.

I don't understand why it's fun to have matches determined & defined by the widespread use of invented consumables like UAVs & artillery/air strike.

Is this game Call of Duty? Should it be renamed Consumable Warrior Online instead, since most of the combat revolves more around the use of consumables than it does mechs?



If that weren't a factor, this would be enjoyable for me. All the fun gets sucked out when every match is nothing but consumables flying everywhere - the mechs feel like a second thought just there to do clean-up work. It's horrendous.

Cumulated what the 75 single player PUG games gave for me with the lucky charm event:

- 2.300.000 CBills
- 4200 GXP
- 305 MC
- 1 Day Premium Time
- Cockpit items: 4 X Christmas Green Lights
- Consummables: 16 randoms

I wanted to earn Mechbays mainly (since I'm a new player), didnt get any. I got MCs to buy one (If I want to), 1 day premium, about a module worth of GXP, about a module worth of CBills, and 4 cool cokpit items,

The 3 things that interest me most :

Mechbay (obvious)

Cockpit items

Currently done with Skirmish, Conquest and Assault.

Assault - 165 / 1 day premium time / 1 mlas and 1 SHS
Conquest - 165 / green christmas light / 1 day premium time / 2 flamers and 1 mlas
Skirmish - 160 / 1 lumin glass / 1 day premium time / 1 mlas

So far 490 mc and no mechbay. Not too bad, i can afford more mechbays when they go on discount

CW is nonexistent, or they use Ice Ferret rushes. Which gives no one 80 match score. Waste of time.

Like many others have said, I have a LOT of games that aren't showing up at all. Quite a few of them were (or rather, would have been) qualifiers. I don't have 25 qualifying matches in any of the gamemodes yet. So, what gives?

Server is lagging
Sometimes i get it like 1-2 hours late

Proof of this is in yesterday's server restart for a patch. The score updates were instantaneous.

Not server lag - just me being a dumb(kinda).

I hadn't clicked over to the different gamemode tabs yet, and was only looking at Assault. I was aware of this, but I didn't think I needed to click over to the other tabs because they all showed "0/25." If you thought that meant you had 0 qualifying matches, as I did, you wouldn't bother checking them... Apparently they mean "0 out of 25 prizes redeemed," though.

@Telmasa, the gimmicks being given away is all about getting players to want those items once they've had a chance to use them - meaning getting people to spend money on stuff they wouldn't normally.

Marketing, plain and simple.
