A loooong time ago I had a Flight Chief in Korea. One of his favorite sayings was "Life Is Full Of Disappointments, This Is One Of Them...Deal With It."

My last match ended 5 minutes before the end (99 points) I lost whatever I would have gotten...Life Is Full Of Disappointments....This Is One Of Them.

Gotta say, loved this event. I liked how it lasted the entire week and how it also had much more variation than the previous ones (rather than just making mad cash you'd get all kind of useful (or just nice) thingies).

No mech bays for me either but a fair amount of MC, they must have shifted the rewards around. The first event like this I got myself a number of mech bays but also a fair amount of rubbish items.

Of anybody's lack of mechbay, it's worth noting that if they're 1% chance for each reward (as guessed in previous events), that's only a 71.5% chance of getting at least 1 in all 125 chances. 52.9% if only doing the 75 conquest/assault/skirmish.

It's something to chase, but not surprising to not find one.

I liked the event I just would have liked if they did not give out improved arty/air/coolant/uav to us. I never use those and would prefer getting more c-bills/gxp/other prizes instead.

This was a great event, thanks PGI. It's always fun to have the mystery of reward. I liked this and your Christmas events far better than most. Reasonable qualifications for success and grab bag rewards are always nice. I wish I could of gotten in all the Clan Warfare matches but the queue still takes awhile sometimes and I just didn't have the time to "complete" the event despite playing quite a deal over the weekend. The Assault/Conquest/Skirmish matches were fare easier to participate in.

2 days of my premium time were completely wasted. I REALLY would have preferred other cockpit items and not 3 of the same one that I didn't like. I've yet to use a consumable item in this game. Reminds me of special potions and stuff in like Morrowind. I'd save them forever and never use them because I thought they were too special.

@Taffer - are you REALLY complaining about all that lovely free stuff you got? I'll have it if you aren't happy, especially the cockpit items and consumables!
