History

The Pleiades Mobile Patriots are originally from the periphery nation the Taurian Concordat.The people of the Concordat have long suffered the unprovoked aggression of the barbaric Davion military and have lost many worlds over the centuries. The Patriots home worlds of the Pleiades were ripped from the Concordat during the Reunification War under the imperialistic pretenses of forming the first Star League.

The Concordat military is unable to fight the Davions directly due to being outnumbered by an order of magnitude and have thus lent the PMP to the Chancellor as a gesture of good will and their best hope of finally liberating the worlds of the Pleiades.

In-Game Operation

• Mainly US TZ but with pilots around the world
  
• Laid back and mature atmosphere
  
• Emphasis on working together, working with other Liao units, and having fun
  
• All PMP members can add new players to the unit. No crazy hoops to jump through to join.
  
• Mechs we pilot: Whichever you have fun piloting. We focus less on the meta and more on just having fun. While we coordinate strategy in CW, no one is going to flip out if you don't bring the precise mech with the precise loadout.

This week the pilots of the Pleiades Mobile Patriots were party to a pretty auspicious event.

While participating in our weekly meditation/occult rituals an angel appeared before us. He looked exactly as one would imagine an angel to look. Tall with perfect muscle tone, hair of golden straw cut in the style popular of a youth-oriented political organization of the 1930s, and wings. My god, his wings. Can wings be both pure white and shimmering gold at once?

The only thing strange about this angel was that he had no eyes. Instead of eyes there were simply pits in which the negative space was filled with an infinity of lies.

As all loyal PMP pilots know it is against the Chancellor's Will that there are any beings that break the well understood laws of science. Our recruits quickly placed the angel under arrest and handed him over to the Maskirovka. When asked what the Maskirovka would do with the angel one of the agents replied, "He will be enrolled in a rigorous reeducation program. It goes against accepted Capellan thought that the angel is allowed to continue to think that he exists."

PMP has always been a solid place for solo players in House Liao to learn the strategies necessary to succeed in Faction play matches. It's great to see Maxwell back in action.

PMP is going to begin it's free Mechbay world tour. Do not fret, comrades, as we will return in time for CW3.

That said, even the bribe of free mech bays will not be enough to desecrate my mechs by joining the FedRats or filthy purple Davions. We will be going FRR first and then Combine.
