I remeber the old beefy LBX10s, those were sick. I imagine this will go the same way as the Catapaults changes. RIP old Jaeger ballistc weapons, your meager replacements will see me never pilotng you again .

Yeah, but they made the gauss barrels shorter too. In practically every game out there, long range weapons tend to have long barrels. In MWO, the gauss barels are ridiculously short on almost every mech except the Warhawk. It makes me sad, because long barrels look so boss on a long range mech.

As others have commented, getting disarmed is pretty much a non-issue for Jagers with big guns, ammo in the legs and XL engines.
