Hi all,
so I've just bought my new pc, and I have doubts about which version I should download.
Here is:
INTEL CORE I7-4720HQ
16 GB DDR3
GEFORCE GTX 860M 4GB DDR5
16gb ram, so x64 should work fine, but that cpu only has 2.6 ghz.
Turbo mode 3.6ghz, but does this mode work better with x86, or x64, or it's the same?
(I don't know if the two mwo's versions only differ about memory use, or there are calculations involved too).
Any tips are welcome!

X86 Or X64?

There's only one client right? you can choose to run either the 64 or 32 bit version in the launcher.

You have a laptop - which one?
throttlestop7 -- see my previous posts - run the cpu at a constant 3.1 or 3.2 ghz and you'll have appreciably smoother framerates.
Process lasso will help too.0
run the 64bit client.
Run your visual settings with:
AA off
Ambient oclusion off
vsync off
Particles low
Shdows off or low
Everythign else high or very high
you'll have very close to stable 50-60 fps
msg me if you want a copy of throttlestop7
