I have several ideas concerning the management of the recent flood of polls.

-There should be an option to go through all the polls you've voted in a similar fashion in a similar manner to the archived comments and topics. This would make navigating topics of personal interest easier. OLd topics wouldn't be forgotten so easily.

-The amount of votes should affect the popularity of a topic more extensively. Achieving a "hot" status should be faster if people simply vote a lot in the poll of the topic.

Like this if you want these changes to come.

Not any more than the other topics here I doubt. Those this I mentioned would be useful changes and they also make sense. Voting should already tell enogh of the legitimacy of the topic even though it doesn't guarantee that the topics with more useful info would get the attention they need. If you want to bump this topic with a longer conversation to get attention, so be it. It suits me. B)
