Current event, as long as some of the previous ones, gives me rewards, that are completely useless for me - consumables and cockpit items. I don't want to put any effort into rewards, that have a noticeable chance to be completely useless. Let me avoid stockpiling this trash - let me sell it for any, even a tiny, amount of CB.

Wow, complaining about getting COCKPIT ITEMS.

All i get is Flamers, Heatsinks and C-bills.

Why not just waste the consumables and use the items for anything

As I already said, my motto is - everything or nothing. I just don't want to even try using items, I won't be able to use all the time. Cockpit items for example: I don't want to buy them for all of my almost 50 mechs, so I don't want to use any of them at all. I only had time to play 4 matches today. One wasn't qualified. 2 have given me useless rewards. I play skirmish only, so I have only 25 rewards. If 66% of them will be useless, then why should I even bother about this event?

Then don't. This is honestly one of the most stupid rants I have seen on these forums, and that is saying a lot. Maybe you should insist PGI consults with you before they have any more promotions?

The problem here is that some people think that they’re entitled get whatever they want, especially when it doesn’t cost them anything; and when they don’t, they complain like it actually matters.

Some people like to get the cockpit items and such as that, and events like this are good for new players. Maybe next time the event will be more to your liking.

Christmas event on my F2Play account I got 3 lumps of coal, I was stoked that I had almost enough for a CW playset.

I've been using them, since I've gotten them from this Lucky Charms event, made a lot of C-bills with them... the are not something I would normally dump c-bills or MC into, but free is free.... and when used, the do make c-bills for you.

After getting nothing but single heatsinks, flamers, medium lasers and small amounts of C-bils or GXP...
I FINALLY GOT ONE COCKPIT ITEM! And it's EXACTLY the one i wanted the most, the Lumin Glass

Now i only need a mechbay or two.

Another UAV... Crap... 6 rewards and 5 of them useless. 83% of rewards are freaking consumables. RNG is soooooo random and unpredictable. As always.

I absolutely hate consumables also.... but I understand why they are in the game..

I even voiced my opinion on that you should be able to use 2 consumable slots for 1 team based module (for example... Target info gathering or Advanced Sensor range.... but nothing like Advanced Zoom or Advanced Seismic ,ect) for people like us that will never use them... even if they are free..

i still have 12 Priority Air Strikes,7 Advanced UAVs, 8 Cool shot 18s, 2 Improved Artillery Strikes, 6 Improved Air Strikes, 5 Improved UAVs, and 4 Priority Artillery Strikes from last Halloween... I will probably never use them..

But they were free and do no harm to me in my Mechlab... sitting there rotting away... its my choice... majority of the players will use them and enjoy getting them

Also I have minor compulsive hoarding disorder... especially in video games... so it fits me perfectly...

I never finished Elder SCrolls or Skyrim.... MY character had too much stuff and you move real slow,ect

I understand, that this items are free. But there is such a term, as "lost profit". Not only those items, that were lost directly, should be treated as lost, but also those, that wasn't obtained. So, every time I get another stupid useless consumable, I feel, like I have lost another useful reward. And what bothers me the most, is the fact, that with every "bag event" chances to get useful rewards are decreasing and chances to get crap are increasing extremely rapidly. At least, I want to have a fair chance to win useful reward - not 1/6 or even worse. Stop manipulating the rng! It's dirtiest trick, ever used by game developers to force players into grind.

If your only motivation to play is to get free rewards and you don't think the rewards are good enough then just don't play.
