Make Command Console share all the info you gather from several powerful Mech Modules:

Seismic
Info Gathering
Advanced Target Decay
Sensor Range
360 Retention

Hell maybe even the strike accuracy modules.

You give a DDC a couple of those flavor modules, with ECM and Command Console, and suddenly that #($&$#*)#&#$ is the center of a UNIT, not just some derpstorm.

Not an expert on game mechanics balance but this is an interesting way to use the command module maybe.

It would certainly match how the tabletop game works better.

I like it, but that is pretty powerful stuff. It would need a counter. Perhaps it would be unable to share info if affected by enemy ECM.

Makes sense to me, I like the idea.

I also agree that it would need a hard counter, ECM works since both are area of effect type equipment.
The CC shares info from modules which work on an area of effect basis (mostly) and ECM is as such and designed to jam a mech's communications with its lance. So that all makes sense.

However for balance perhaps that CC only shares info with its lance and not the entire team. Sharing info with the entire team seems a bit OP.
