I am curious if PGI could/would consider resizing this chassis some of the MECHs as well.

What they can do is, giving them extra armor to compensate for their scale just like the Zeus. Base the extra armor values on the Enforcer(because it's almost perfectly sized) and give 50 tonners comparatively more armor depending on how bigger they are. I think the Trebuchet needs a minimum of +10 armor on all components to compensate.

It seems weird, but the size is not actually causing me any issues with doing well in the mech. I have been doing great in the competions with the 7M and the Loup. Usually get 400-700 damage with 2-3 kills. So, I am not sure it would make much difference.
To be my own Devils Advacate, the size could make the MECH easier to hit, but it also gives an advantage of seeing what is in front of the MECHs in front of you and helping overall visability of the battlefield.
Any thoughts on this from you guys?

Nova needs more help than size scaling. LOL. Due to how much speed affects nimbleness in the game, the Nova turns slowly and Jumps like it is a Heavy. Heat management is still bad, even with the quirks now. Lastly, it could use the addition of the Variant with missile Omnipods, to add more roles to make it better rounded.
But to argue your point. Trebs were here long before the Nova, so the Nova needs to get in line.

- In terms of ability, they've really been shafted by PGI. Partially because they're based around a concept (fast and light LRM carrier) which is useless in MWO.
- In terms of size, the Trebuchet is just a gargantuan medium mech with most of its launchers in low slung weapons. So you basically have to expose a torso the size of Texas in order to use your weapons, unless you have someone else spotting. And again, a medium mech LRM boat that needs other people to spot for you.... why are you in a medium mech again?
- Most importantly, the 3D team really, really, really butchered Alex Iglesias' beautiful concept art. It's one of the ugliest mechs in the game right now.
When I first saw the concept art for the Trebuchet, I really thought this would be my favourite medium mech forever. Then I saw the 3D model and... well.

Lowest?
I mistake Trebuchets for Highlanders. Either my vision is going (which is possible), or that they honestly are out of whack (which is pretty much 110% the case).
I suggest someone put a Trebuchet and Highlander side by side as a reference.
Additionally, the large arms of the Trebuchet are also where the majority of the weapons are fielded (for most of the variants) and as such are waiting to be blown up...
Then, I'd like to think people need to check their vision if they think the Trebuchet is scaled properly.

Clans well the Nova is way too wide and the Stormcrow seems a bit tall.

They will never listen or change this, which is sad.
