This happens to me ALL THE TIME.

- I use my jump jets, or just walk off a drop of some sort
- My mech gets 'stuck' in mid air
- I hit the ground so hard I lose 10% of my armour and my legs turn red

This happens to me all the time too on certain maps with a lot of angles and ledges. I think the mech gets stuck in between the geometry and is caught in some quantum falling/impact state. I've had all the armor eroded from my legs by this many a time. Usually in my lights, but once or twice in a heavy. I've also had this happen in the middle of a firefight. The enemy sees my Jenner embedded in the side of a mountain rock face and decide to pin an AC20 tail on my donkey.

Doesn't seem like anything they could fix unless they went over the entire geography of those maps and sealed the cracks.

At least I haven't fallen through the crack in reality to end up floating in Negaspace in a long time. So they must have fixed something.

For me, this issue is most prevalent on lights when using JJs - get stuck on a piece of terrain while coming down with JJs and be stuck in midair for a good 10 secs and the game thinks I'm falling for the whole duration I'm stuck so that when I finally break free and land, I take MASSIVE leg damage.

It's a pretty bad bug that has been around for a good while now (in fact, I think it's been happeneing since I first started playing the game in 2013) and should have been fixed a LONG time ago.

On city maps I'd guess that it's close to 20% of my games in a Mist Lynx where I land on a building and get stuck in the falling state while landed. If I ever manage to make it back down, bam, all my leg armor is gone. The percentage is probably even higher on Bog. As if jumpjets and the MLX weren't bad enough, it's made me super cautious about using them at all on any jump that isn't a 100% guarantee.

On forest colony, there's a building outside the tunnel that if you run into at 140+ kph you climb up, and then perpetually fall until you have -320m/s and then you touch the ground 2 inches below you and your leg armor teleports off your mech.

There's also some special cases in Terra Therma where even though you're walking laterally, you're sustaining your fall rate, and when you walk on flatter ground you hit the ground like you fell from the sky.

It needs work in the regard. I'm finding it -very- annoying in a light mech with JJ's. I take so much unnecessary damage.

I had one game where an entire lance got stuck in mid air for the entire game, leading to an inevitable loss. The enemy team was just as confused as we were at the sight of three lights and a medium levitating against a wall.

As each mech was destroyed though, the ragdolls freaked the **** out. One of them shot to the ground and after a brief delay went through the ground. One skated across the ground like it was possessed by Satan. And the medium shot up a cliff and went orbital.

Better this than having your mech going into meditation:
