I see mass solo sync dropping on planets. Easily exploited, and you'll still end up seeing 8-12 man teams, dropping as solo.

If the CW population grew 10x over what it has today, i think you could seriously discuss the idea. 30x and it would be practical to implement.

Could match faction vs faction, or mixed IS vs Clan - assign the combat groups to currently contested planets, fill with existing gametypes as well as CW only gametypes.
Takes planet selection out of the mix and operates within the rules of existing CW for LP association and functionality based on who you end up against. If there is a specific target you want to hit then you have all the existing functionality (as well as near future improvements)

I suppose you are relatively decent player.Still unable to do well, in pug vs premade team.
I read somewhere on forum CW population is around 13% playerbase. What plan PGI has, to increase that number?
Let me check other team in lobby, before actual combat begins.
If i see smurfs or 12 premade opportunists,i move on.
Mixed teams with around 4-5 premade players in other team,i stay and play.
Units can wait in lobby forever or send spotter to check other lobbies.
Lobby A: filled with 5 solo players. 12 opportunists hur dur to join.Present pugs aren't stupid and join other lobby.Fail.
Another spotter check follows.
Lobby B: partially filled with some other unit(s).12 opportunists accept consens, they will play vs other Unit or they will keep rejoin lobbies for rest of afternoon.
Win/win.Yes, it's very french system, but what to do?
Now i spend 10-20min waiting in autolobby before game start.
3/5 game i know we gonna be steamrolled the second i check teams.Another 20-25min wasted.
Imo, more people will switch to this mode with this simple change.

Regular queue is solo queue. Regular queue is also where they stated you will make most of your cbills.
I'm curious why despite us both being wolves we have such different experiences. What time zone are you in? Me and my wingman are both EST and we find matches are pretty even as the enemy is always a bunch of solo droppers as well.

The problem is there might be a whole 5000 players playing CW and of those 5000 maybe 1000 hardcore players playing 12 mans and this might be stretching things.CW is a bust because it is not player friendly. In older planetary leagues we had the option to drop 2v2-12v12 matches with friends and casual players when they joined lobby groups or coms channels.
CW for MWO is the same same game modes and the same same FFA=free for all matches it really is a boring game mode just like solo MM games have become. There is no verity the game is stale and boring and a grinder.
MWO overall is lacking the creativity of the older PC MechWarrior games and leagues and may not survive much longer.MWO needs to do a 360% turnaround for it to be a viable game and Steam will just hasten its demise in its current form.

And I have no idea what you are talking about by saying CW is a free for all. There always people on my team when I play. Maybe you need to stop shooting your allies in the back...
And you have lobby options. Go use them if you.want 2v2. Stop trying to break the game.

Look, man, I get it. I'm a solo player, too. Being a solo PUG in CW is a lot like back in the day when they threw large groups into the solo queue.
But, there are a couple of things I want you to think about real quick....
The first is PGI's complete inability to understand the definition of the word "balance." Apparently, the Canadian definition includes "as long as you don't hurt yourself or anybody else when you fall off the sidwalk drunk, you're balanced"...or something to that effect.
Are you certain you want those guys to design something for CW that is their version of "balanced?"
The second is the fact that, believe it or not, you actually stand a better chance of getting a decent team in CW than you do in the solo queue...depending on how experienced you are. If you're one of those guys with a high Elo because you do groups sometimes, you end up with the whole "the better you are, the more you carry" syndrome. I know you've felt that one...if you're not the one forcing the situation, you've been on a team where it's obvious.
You don't get that in CW. It's catch as catch can there. Granted, it seems you catch a lot of new players experimenting with CW...but, there are fewer of them than there are new players in the solo queue.
Worth thinking about.

It should contain an option for a wannabe leader or 4,8, whatever-man groups to fill their ranks with sensible players ingame. That would make some ad-hoc 12-mans. After the first game, the leader could remove clueless/not cooperating members from the team/members could leave if they don't find the leader good enough. One could stay a pug, but play in a team.

You say this mode was not meant for pugs? So what do you care if pugs get their own queue? You still have what was meant
for you. Why do we pugs have to be your fillers and victims. If your highly specialized meta-games do not attract enough
players thats your own damn fault and problem. We pugs want a place where we can enjoy the game as we like too.
Otherwise I see no justification why you should be able to win tournaments prizes or achievement / rank rewards,
when you can make easy pugs stomps or earn for drops against no opponent.

If you are 'filler' or 'victim' you chose to be. You didn't havr to be. If I'm filer for a 10man I accept that for what it is.
