I don't think its yet earned a higher score than its gotten since a year ago. At least it hasn't gotten lower IMO.

They should just market it as the most challanging game, not for eveyone. Kinda why people tried flappy bird.

People always wanna prove other people wrong, and they could use negative quotes as tag lines:

"...is impossible to learn..." Joe Nubcakes
"...can't even..." Frank McNoobie
" Pff, couldn't figure out how to Launch even" T.B.

Might not work, but would be really funny tho.

If we go to steam, MWO will be booned by the fact that it really doesn't have a lot of competition in this particular genre. Yes, Hawken is getting new life, but it's still quite a different game. I'd love to see some cross-competition there, though, and you can bet that Meteor is going to come out (at least at first) guns blazing. They're already doing a hell of a job engaging the community and rebuilding.

Wait, you mean the devs are actually doing work with Hawken again? My kid loves that game, but I had to break it to him that it is most likely going no further. Any kind of competition would be a good thing.

I rue the day MW:O goes to Steam for no other reason than it will allow a completely unregulated venue for every malcontent to spew their vitriol and bile... <_<

So the current, completely unregulated venue, for every malcontent to spew their vitriol and bile, is regulated?

Who would have known... ;)

MWO has a bad meta score because at best its a 6/10 game....

So you're a ForumWarrior and don't play then? Otherwise you like to play 6/10 games? omg!

Adhesive Games went bankrupt and silent for a year. Meteor has stepped in and reclaimed it and is promising to continue development. If you check their social media, they're doing a pretty good job at engaging the community and setting up gaming events while they get in gear.

No I play, as stated everywhere MWO is the only battletech game in town. Love battletech? There is only one choice. Doesn't mean MWO is a great game... so yeah 6/10 is being nice. The meta is more Cod that mechwarrior, the cw is just bad, the new player experience is terrible. A open Mech lab is a terrible idea ( something we knew in closed beta ) PGI is either incapable of being a game designer due to fear of financial failure or PGI is out of its depth. Most likely both.

What can we do to get this game a renewed review so that some of the more newer players that like to research a game before they can play it?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
OP even though PGI has added a ton of mechs a few maps it still lacks flavor and would overall receive the same reviews or worse the game is stale old news. MWO needs a true expansion to the game new game modes (stock/trial Vs stock/trial-IS VS Clan-Siege mode-Missile mode-ETC.) are needed along with a new free social/lobby/launcher system(MSN GAMMING ZONE STYLE) to replace the no ghost town private pay system.

Then it would be worthy of a new review the devs and pgi staff are going down the same road as MekTek did if they are not the same people they have the same mind set and MekTek failed to revive MechWarrior4 back to its glory days And PGI is following suit.

I also think there isn't a bold idea guy/girl at PGI. MWO could be more.
