What Is Up With Hit Detection

I've had some friends play with me 1v1 testing the hits and whenever something is rapid fired only 50-70% of my rounds are registering.
Does anyone else have this problem? I've seen alot of older forum posts about this.

This is a common long time problem in MWO, which PGI continuously fails to register as a HUGE problem for the game.
Some time ago I whined about this in the forums of a competitive league only to be told by <50 ms pingers that the problem is actually the same for everyone. The hitreg is so bad that even a good ping doesn't matter.
Now that they lost Karl Berg, I don't know who they have that could actually address the problem. :I

That is your problem. You need to get off wireless, or it will remain bad. My ping is 120 +/- 1 (yes, 120), and my hit registration is generally rock solid. Your connection stability is crucial in MWO. Even players from Australia do fine as long as they have good landlines.

Somewhere in the general forums, i.e. the place that will give you cancer? No, thanks.

This is the #1 reason why we need EU servers. All of the servers should be enforcing g_pinglimit < 80 ms.

Notice that when the cicada shutdown, it seems that several hits were not register based on the cross hair not turning red.
