That thing looks amazing..... am wondering if there is enough there to be a lawsuit issue for PGI, or if it would be separate enough to survive the legalities for actual sale? All I know is I want one.

Any intrepid folk here have a 3D printer that can do one in metal?

3d Printed? Meh.

CNC milled from aluminum stock would be the only way to go. Expensive as hell, but I'd buy at least two.

Sure, I'd prefer it that way, happen to know anyone with some CNC gear laying around? Also, aluminum? Bad, unless you want alzheimers.

I have said a few times I work in a Prototype CNC Shop haven't I? We even have access to 7 Axes CNC Machines. I am not trained on em though

For drinking out of?!? I'd never use Aluminum.... Too many contaminates in it that could leach into your drink, and do bad things, like leading to all kinds of mental illness....

Stainless steel (316 or 18-8) would be fine though. :)

if I was rich I'd go for titanium, totally inert. And well...titanium. (Might save your life someday)

Yeah. I'd take two. Legalities an issue I'd guess though.

depends on cost. if u were to cnc stainless, that thing depending on the size would be pretty pricey. now if u go with a plastic mod, and have so its insulated. less material cheaper to make, keep the beer cold. yes it does not have the feel and quality of a metal mug. then again its for a small select group so price may not be an issue.

Titanium is probably the most badass metal. I mean, just saying the name Titanium sounds manly. And it has the root word Titan.

I already have a spork and straw made of titanium, just need a titanium Urbie mug to complete the collection. B)

The new mug did actually get me excited. I would've been bored with the default mug.

Now... if only had 3 of these....

yeah, the original stein announcement was a big "whoop de do" for me. Mind you, this one is still useless eye candy, but it least it's useless eye candy they spent a few seconds on.
