I wait and wait and wait..sometimes 20 minutes to get in a game. Sure I could quit and look for a different one, but it's all the same. Why is there not an available game every 5 minutes? Or maybe there is and I'm just going about it the wrong way.

I'm new to CW, so let me know.

Note the part about how many are already in the queue and how to count how many people are ready to go. I would imagine weeknights it takes longer but so far this weekend some waits have been only a couple of minutes for me. Already got 3 event rewards.

QFT. It doesn't matter how long you wait, unless you're the last one filling in a one-empty slot, you can get bounced out by premades coming in. I've sat there in queue and been bounced 3 times as a single because larger groups queued up. It's not "first come first gets to play" the system actively prioritizes those in larger groups. it's BS, and it's why a solo player can sit there trying for a match for over an hour in the queue.

If you're really having trouble getting a match I suggest grouping up with more people. And if you think 20 minutes is bad you should try joining one of the smaller factions.

Yep and a lot of premades do zergs now , so they will have 48 pre mades of different units all zerging making it impossible for anyone not in thier coalition to play

Look at the number of attacker/defenders. Use logic. profit.

But most of the time you will get something like 39/38 in which your attacking you won't get in cause that would give the attacking side 40.

I only solo and I haven't had any hour waits. 15 minutes at most.

the mm puts the team with the bigest groops in it first... so if u are w8ing for the last 1 to join for a 12 man team and a 2 man groop joins the que, the lone pug will be left alone..

Only at very de-populated times (7-9AM EST) am I unable to find a match in fewer than 10 minutes.

You've just got to watch dem queues, man. You know, watching the planet pops for 3 minutes, getting into a quick game because of it only totals a 5 minute wait. You could have spent 20-30 minutes in an empty battlefield, like you're doing now!

If you form a team of just two people then you will bounce solos out and usually drop into the earliest group, 2 gets priority over solos. It helps a lot but will still be slow outside of busy time.

Go on the Kurita TS and get in a 12 man. Kurita makes this very easy with a central TS Hub.

I wrote up a nice post on a trick that gets me in games fast, then I removed it. I think I will keep it to myself.

It does use groups first because its easier to make groups out of nice even numbers like 2, 4, 6,8 and 12 then it is to find singles. This is just the nature of the MM and not so much BS. This was also all stated at the implementation of CW. If I can find the thread i will link it...

But complaining about a mode that was MADE FOR GROUPS being hard to find games as a SOLO is kinda silly isn't it? Such is the nature of CW currently but 4v4 modes and such are coming down the pipe apparently which will help this i hope.

However it is easy to get into CW as a solo. If some big outifit is going after a planet, go to another planet. The queue is longer than public matches, just adjust your paradigm and don't worry so much. In response to busy times are harder - I find busy times to be easiest, even got some near instant matches.

Getting a group was easy last night, but tonight the queue times for me have been averaging 45min +

If not for the tournament I'd just go play regular matches, but I wanted to finish off my 20 wins. It doesn't look like that's going to happen.

Yet I've probably spent more than some or perhaps even most group. Makes me feel good.

Play on Clans. If you're on the outnumbering side you'll rarely get into a match.
