**I will update this more later, I ran out of free time

The best way to win is to try to win. Negativity will quickly erode the cohesion of any Lance. Play your role as best you can, always endeavor to be better, and do not get discouraged by setbacks.
Play Your Role:
Command – The lance commander is responsible for communication to and from the lance, including calls for support, and coordinating the actions of the lance. While not as focused on combat as the MechWarriors the Commander still has to be a competent MechWarrior.
Scout – The scouts primary role is one of reconnaissance and finding targets for the MechWarriors. A secondary role is that of opportunistic attacks/harassing fire.
MechWarrior – The two main roles of the MechWarrior are that of attack and defense.
Tactics:
Maintain situational awareness. Keep communication channels clear, except to call out positions, and alert the commander of potential exploits and traps. Watch the others in your lance, and alert them to potential hazards. Provide covering fire for your lancemates. Try and draw the enemy out and keep them exposed, while trying to reduce your exposure and remained covered.
Attack the weakest Mech of the enemy lance, or look for an isolated member of the lance. If the enemy lance is good, attack the legs of one of the Mechs, and then try and reposition your lance drawing the remaining enemies away from the disabled Mech. Weakest could mean the most wounded, or the most isolated. If there is an Atlas far from its lancemates, try and take it out. If you can deny the opposing team of their scout then they will have to bring their support mechs in closer to target themselves. Taking out there commander will deny them of air support.
Once an enemy is wounded try and attack the same place on their Mech. Try aiming at their weapons to disable their weapons. If weapons are damaged on the enemy Mech try and position yourself to that side of the Mech. Try to be always moving when you are targeted.
When your team picks a target to attack try and stick with that target to bring it down unless there is a compelling reason to switch targets. Everyone should stay on the one target if possible, but don't lose track of the other enemy Mechs or of your surrounding.
Circle strafe in close combat to keep to the rear of your opponent. Circle strafing may be accomplished by torso twisting toward the Mech you are attacking, then constantly turning a circle as you move around the Mech. If you are the victim of circle strafing, then move your torso as far as you can toward the enemy Mech, and start a slow circle out toward the direction that your torso is facing. If you have lancemates in the vicinity, face your torso Perpendicular to your lancemate, so that you will not be between the enemy and your lancemate. Then walk generally to the side of your lancemate, so that if the enemy keeps themself to your back, your lancemate is facing their flank and as you pass your lancemate their back will be exposed. Tell your lancemate what you are doing by asking for a peel.
Training:
Do not underestimate practice. The best always get to be the best through perseverance and practice. Do not get discouraged by a couple of loses. Instead analyze what went wrong and work toward correcting mistakes in the future. If the game has something along the lines of skirmishes run them often against a variety of Mechs to find their strengths and weaknesses.
Terms:
Assault – Other than being a classification of Mech. Assault is a term used for direct attack. Specialized Assault Lances can be used to attack heavily fortified positions.
