I think i'd want the Hammerhands MORE than the Warhammer. Why?
Hammerhands is a 75tonner.
Also it has Jump Jets (not that they matter in MWO, but if they ever were fixed, it'd be great)

I would just like it to be on par with how well the Zeus seems to be doing.

Remember when folks would max the engine and just run a large laser and some mediums? Brawling with the awesome because the only threat was an atlas.....
Uh..huh.
I used to brawl with a Catapult C1.. lol. 2 LLasers, 2 MLasers, 2 SRM4s+ART and a big XL. It was pretty decent too.
Those days are long gone.

And is 3/5/3.... The Warhammer is 4/6 so notably faster.

I think we found something we both agree on there Johnny.
I'd like them to use this as the base for a Warhammer:
Looks about the same loadout as the Thug. 2xPPCs and 2xSRM racks. I built one out of an awesome too btw.... Works well.

My Awesome ran 85 kph. It carried a LRM10 (annoyance) an ER PPC, 5 Medium Lasers and no less than 23 DHS.
I out heatsink-ed the enemy in any brawl...
It had a KDR of 3,5....
Now that you reminde....
No, it´s ok. It is ok.
I just...got something in my eye.

Well it's the Warhammer IIC-4 so 80t clan beast....
The IIC 3 was not well-received by the Clan's buyers, so they went back to the drawing board and devoted a significant amount of energy and resources to this variant. Almost completely reworked from the ground up, the IIC 4 has a different aesthetic from the original, but its communication systems and weapons have been upgraded to top-of-the-line models, unlike the traditional view of second-line 'Mechs. The old ER PPCs were swapped out for a pair of new Type DDS "Kingston" models, while the secondary weapons were stripped out. They were replaced by a pair of System 4 ATM-6 launchers and a Series 1 Mk. III ER Small Laser.

Besides, it's MWO, you can easily swap an engine for a bigger one
Yup, and you could do that to the Warhammer too., and not have to give up ammo... just dump the MG's and their ammo, swap to DHS, and Endo, so all the must have stuff...

That was also when it felt like PPCs did something besides turning off ECM. I don't know exactly what changed as far as the 'feel' of it but back then the PPCs felt like getting hit by an AC/20 and now they feel like being tickled with static.

The name isn't the problem, it's the model of the WHM-6 family, MAD-3 family and so on... Well maybe the Valkyrie is the rare case of name and model....

It's much less the armor and structure and much more the size of the CT hit-box that makes a mech tough.
Now I don't understand why the Atlas gets such a tiny CT hit-box and the Awesome's is so big when by PGI's own balancing the smaller, lighter a mech is, the smaller the CT gets. Did two different teams make these mechs?
The Zeus suffers from the same over-sized CT hit-box, though not quite as bad. What works for the Zeus is never face more than one opponent at a time because no one ever misses the Zeus's CT. So step in front of 2-3 mechs, even with other teammate mechs alongside and the Zeus's CT armor is gone in just a few seconds sometimes. Get 1v1's by terrain or straggler mechs and the Zeus holds it's own. Same for the Awesome.
