I want to play a unit but it keeps saying
The units contract is short than your contract
I tried leaving factions but it says (Permanent Contract) Kurita.
What on earth should i do.
Also im noticing that when the game starts sometimes i cant move my mouse to one side of screen and i have to do Ctrl + alt + del to task manager then back into game before mouse is allowed to move to menus.
And sometimes the game is bouncing back and fourth the task manager and the game like
minimise maximise minimise maximise minimise maximise
ctrl + alt + del stops it.

Your Contract: I can only guess that you may not have enough to pay the penalty for breaking a Permanent Contract. You will have to break that in order to join a Unit.

you cannot join a unit while you have a contract, so you will have to pay to get out of your current contract as Tarogato said,
having been part of a unit ever since that feature was introduced I do not know costs, but as a rule you should never take a permanent contract unless you are certain you will never want to change faction or join a unit, or are prepared to pay when it comes time to break a contract.
also I believe there is a 48 hour cooling off period after breaking 1 contract before you can take another

And quite frankly, the bonuses for taking longer contracts simply aren't there. Useless Loyalty Points? No thanks, I'll keep my flexibility.

If you try to leave the contract is says cost per day 23 days 50,000 and about 1.15 million it suggests you cant leave the faction or get out of contract and that's for 23 days ??????????????

Yes, it costs money to break a contract. When you do it, you get a 24 hour cooldown period where you cannot take another contract or join a unit.

To be a little more specific: If you break a contract, your contract will still continue for 24 hours and you cannot break a contract that has less than 48 hours remaining.
To join my current unit, I had to do the same. I foolishly had renewed my Kurita contract for another 28 days just a few days before.

I had to pay the same million plus c-bills, but fighting with a unit in CW allowed me to make that back in 3 or 4 drops with them.
