A little FYI for all you PUGs out there...especially loyalist PUG's...

When the merc units all go to the other side and start attacking your faction its best to stay out of it and not play CW. As a pug your actually not helping your faction by fighting (they just farm you for planet wins). Its actually better to wait until the Merc units switch to some other faction. The very best "fun" for a pug in CW is when the Merc units are spread around the factions, 2nd best is when they are on your side. But the absolute worst is when you are being attacked by several large merc units and the faction their in.

Once again its best just to stay out of it...let the turrets fight them.

Eventually they will switch to some other faction or front and you can go back to reasonably fun mixed PUG/Unit action...which is generally fun. Until than your best bet for you and your faction is to just go back to the solo que.....which is always fun.

As an idea for helping PUG's know when to stop CW, PGI should provide a list of the units fighting and for what faction on the CW map.

I have been practicing this method for a while now and I am unmoved by the crying about CW....because its not just how you play....its when you play ;)

Have a good day ! :)

PS: I'll let you decide how much of this is sarcasm or irony

Is the switch the part that you don't want to actually have to play matches to take planets?

Wait....you want to take planets?...wierd

No anywhoo the bait is CW....the switch is not being gator feed for the machine if your a pug...basically ...know when the best times to play are....because PGI can't balance factions....and maybe they shouldn't ?

Guess I don't really care...I like CW ...just wanted to offer some friendly advice to the people making posts about how CW is bad for PUG's. It's not bad...at the right times. : )

Uhh, this thread is pretty bizarre and I would classify the advice as premium snake oil.

Every player and every unit is a MERC unit. There are no house units (even if they claim to be so). Everyone has to select a faction and take a contract; even perm contracts are still Merc contracts. You can break it and go to another faction.

I find it funny there are role players out there claiming to be house reps when in fact everyone is a MERC

I kind of agree with the OP, in a way. If you notice that everyone in the world is stacked on Jade falcon (for example) right now. Just stay out of their way (if you are solo dropping). They will get bored and move on.

Don't let them get free cbills off of you.

*I think -MS- is Kurita right now.. Brings quite a few numbers to their ranks. *

Edited for clarity and examples.
