Seriously,
The lack of repercussions for AFK, Teamkilling, suicide scouting, and other malicious noobery is appalling. Other similar FTP games have such IN GAME REPORTING systems so it isn't far fetched. Didn't have a lot of time to play today and in the dozen-ish games I played, I was on the losing team EVERY TIME. In each game I was typically a top 4 damage dealers in a heavy mech and out damaged many assaults that did only 100ish damage--or none at all because they were AFK the whole darn match. And it was ALWAYS the Assualt mech who was AFK, not the light or med.
Do you see the pattern? Because if it truly is a PATTERN that other players can easily point out in game, you, the powers that can suspend them for an hour or 2 or a day (or more if it persists) will have the information you need to back up such a justified action when it is necessary. AND IT IS NECESSARY..... IT APPEARS TO BE HAPPENING MORE AND MORE than ever before.
So how about something that is intended to help 'helpful' teammates and put some sort of punishment on those who ruin the game for the rest of us. Thanks.

Teamkillers, if reported, get banned.

Suicide scouting? Give me a break. I doubt people are deliberately getting themselves killed; you can't punish people for being bad. It's not like that would be an effective way to farm cbills; you'd earn next to nothing.

AFK? Again, no way you can punish that. Just being AFK through a match would get you nothing, and you can't punish people for legit issues. For example, I've suddenly afk'd in matches more than once because one of my children decided to bleed all over things.

But really, just go have a cookie, take a break and relax, try again tomorrow. Clearly you're all sorts of worked up.

I C2D about 3 times a play session now on average ,a lot of other players are server related crashing to now more than ever so I am not sure now is a good time to implement something like that till they get the Client stable

This. The MWO client is the least stable and least reliable client of any game I currently play. I've no idea what the issue is (I think, though I have no proof, that it's a combination of dodgy beta drivers and my crap ISP, but I digress) but for a 4-6 hour typical MWO session I might have 2 x CTDs and at least another 2 x server connection losses.

See the above. While I agree that reporting team killers is a good idea (use the existing system, it works) for players like me who suffer regular dopouts, you just want to punish us so that you can enjoy your 1337 gaming session with no hickups? At our expense? Pound sand pal.

And somehow this is all the fault of assault drivers? Citation needed. Show me the statistics, or otherwise you merely appear to blame assault drivers for... stuff...

This thread is pointless trolling. 0/10.

If only there was a way to tell afk from a DC.

oh, there is. So people who crash don't have to get their backs up because it has nothing to do with them.

The odd emergency afk or bad early death would be easy to see isn't a constant pattern.

In game report is nothing to fear, you can still be reported already, it's just really inefficient. OP didn't ask for player vote bans, just an easier way/industry standard to report abusers. What's wrong with that?
