It's since the beginning that I'm saying my urbie will be 20AC Urbie.
Sadly pgi didn't give it cooldown quirk too....

I thought about that too. Then I also thought, how much ammo could realistically fit in an Urbie with an A/C10 or A/C20? Cool down is great, but you also chew through ammo faster and an A/C20 or 10 Urbie is in trouble without ammo.
I will say this. With increased balliatic velocity, range, and the faster reverse speed; it is going to be a pop-out sniper when equipped with large ballistics.
I'm not sure we have strong enough quirks for the Urbie, but I can see some sense in it. I wish cool down could be part of it, but ammo is at a premium with the larger ballistics.

Like Bishop said, we wanted the Urbanmech, not a joke. Others called it a joke because they wanted to, it isn't the label we ever gave it.
This mech could have gotten fun quirks that made it interesting to play, but these will be tricky due to their underwhelming nature.
As for the Jester... She may be a prankster and a clown, but she is nobody's fool . She is serious business on the battlefield.

Exactly. It's funny, most people who calle dem joke sin TT, just meant they couldn't think outside the box. Limited, and over specialized? Yes. Used by people with 2 working brain cells in the way they were intended (city defense, congested CQB)? Exceedingly effective.
Sure, they are not anyone's first choice for facing an Assault Mech on Alpine peaks, but if they had REAL JJs (not hoverjets) I would give better than even odds on 3 of them being able to match an Atlas on River City.

I think you are being too generous to that Atlas... 2 UM-R60L's should be able to take that Atlas in River City...

Its only bad, if you use it wrong. A UM-R60L can wreak a lot of face and are, in a congested map with lots of cover.

Question: have we heard anything about 65-95 sized engines? What if the next step is literally 100 and no xl60, what will that do to people and their build Plans?
Afaik they never did say that there'd be other engines, just a60 specifically for the urbie...

I was hoping for a self-destruct quirk option so I could pack mine with explosives and do a banzai charge into a pack of enemies....at 35 kph. Quick, distract them team, I'm going for it!
