Because it's rare for you to get past 400 damage each game?

Nice game. You executed some good battlefield awareness.

You have to like it when you have an extremely lucky match like that and all the cards fall into place. It is a ton of fun.

High damage and kills in an obviously extreme-low-Elo match. Much impressive. Very entertainment.

Lots of that. Then again, that defines a light pilot doesn't it? It requires good awareness to know where to be and a lot of luck.

It seems like piloting a light (especially one with such close range attacks is about 50/50 luck and skill. Maybe more luck than that.

Light piloting is a crapshoot. You can get a 400+ DMG match one game and a 80 DMG match the next. Depends on luck (bad or good). One good (or lucky) A/C, Gauss, or PPC shot can ruin your game real quick.

In that video, especially after the 3:30 mark (when both legs were cored and dark yellow), any stray laser vomit shot or a focused hit would have blown that locust's leg off and the match would have gone completely different. Heck, any time the Locust STOPPED behind an enemy, it could have spelled doom if an enemy team mate saw the stationary Locust. I have killed a lot of lights who have done that (and have been killed myself while going that).

A lot of luck goes into a match in a light (especially a Locust). Still, a lot of skill goes into it too. You need to know when to be ninja and when to dive in and out. I think the OP played the match very well in that respect. He knew when to attack and when to GTFO.

Luckily though in that match, most players ignored him. The Spider could have been a threat, but aimed for the body instead of the legs.

Still, a great match. I wish I had a lucky one like that.

I totally agree with u but i dont think its 50/50 luck/skill. Maybe the quirks will help too but i think u should have enough skill to Pilot your mech Without needing luck. So well to be honest ive got more games with 800 - 1000 dmg and i dont think its every time luck because ive rarely see other locusts they do that. But you need a Lot of timeto learn how to play a Locust but i also like to stand behind a enemy. Of course i know its dangerous and i often got killed by that but i also got an eye of my environment and the enimies. So its not luck that no Gauss Comes from anywhere, its skill to prevent these Situation ;) my opinion. But in this game ur right, ive got luck that the enimies stand in this perfekt Order but u also need skill to see ur luck and use the Situation

Clear evidence that the Locust is OP and needs to be nerfed.

Luck is where skill and opportunity meet.
Well played!
Wish more lights could/would perform like this.

I do think 9 kills is where the luck really has influence but 938 damage in a locust that speaks of good piloting. Well done.

But tbh I could care less about other peoples match stats. :)
