I've read some posts that say that there are tweaks you can put in a user.cfg file to make it run better on older computers.

I've tried them and it says that I don't have rights to put a user.cfg file in Piranha Games > MechWarrior Online.

Can you still alter your user.cfg file or was that ability only with older versions of the software?

That's your OS blocking you from changing stuff in the program files directory, You'll need to have administrator privileges to do it.

Thanks, after figuring out how to turn on administrator access in Windows 7 (for the only user on the computer already set up as an administrator) I got it to work!
