So the patch today stalled halfway through finalizing... I saw the "run as admin" supposed fix for this, so I canceled out of the patch, and ran the game as administrator... only to have the install base begin to download.

Am I really going to have to sit through this for a hour or more just because the patch got screwed up?

Patcher take lots of time for finalizing more time than download patch itself, dont be hasty.

- You can always cancel the patcher in downloading mode!
- You can always cancel the patcher in patching mode BUT you need to clean the MWO-Temp folder before the next try
- You may NEVER cancel patcher in finalyzing mode - you will always break your game files!

If there was no other option then cancel while finalyzing, so run the Repair-Tool - don't try to patch again! :-)

You have to redownload the entire game anyway, hidden patch happens when you run the repair tool and it finds everything is mismatched.
Going to have to do the full redownload again eventually.
