doing ok in mine so far, given that my team dosnt just LEROY across the map.

To start I really did try to build a decent ac20 build but my 99kph fully armored ac20 Huggin just wins for my everytime.

Best I have found that fit for me is
ac10,sl 1jj 170xl
2 ac2, 2sl 1jj 170xl
and for the hero LL, 2ML 3MG 4JJ 180xl

Going to try 2LPL next.

I have been running the hero with an XL140 (I had one, not enough CB for the 180 yet), 2x ERLLas, AMS w/ 1t, max JJ/Armour, and DHS filling all remaining tonnes (six, I think). Planning on taking off the AMS and 1 Heat Sink to get an XL180 eventually. I have been getting close to average (my average) dmg per game.

I am planning on ultimately keeping the hero and one other variant. I would like to make a Ballistic themed one, just not exactly sure how to do it and not suck.

Doing actually very well in my Urbi. Last night almost every game I dropped in I had a kill and only died once, but thats because the team Leeroy-ed.

The Build I run in uses the Champ with 3x MGs with 2x tons of ammo, 2x ML, and 1x LPL, with an XL180 Engine and 3x JJs.

This has got to be my most favorit Light mech of all time.

Oh, also, for kicks and giggles, I painted my Urbi black and jumped on top of my friends Warhawk. People were laughing as it looked like the Warhawk had a tophat.

No matter how crappy IS lights are they still out do the KF how many KF can mount a AC-20 ?? NONE

Kinda sad a trash can mech is still better than most light clan mechs.

increase quirks so its a real OP is light come on Russ you know you want to do it.

you are correct, no Kit Fox can mount an AC20 however the C left arm can mount a UAC20, and the Fox has sufficient tonnage to allow you to take a UAC20 with 2.5 tonnes of ammo and max armor, so any Kit Fox can mount a UAC20 provided you are not using all the Side Torsos and leg omnipods from the S.

too bad the UAC-20 is about like a UAC-5 since you are lucky 1/2 the pellets can hit the target.

PGI really needs to lower spread by 1 pellet per UAC example 4=20 , 3=10 , 2=5 and 1pellet = uac-2

My jegger UAC-5 rips apart mechs faster than my DWF with more guns.

Or the UM-R63 variant with 3MG and 2ML.

Quirks and hardpoints can rally make or break a mech.

UM-R60L has 15% less energy heat generation and 15% energy range.

4xMPL = 8 tonnes, 253 range, 24 alpha, 6.68 DPS, 3,77 HPS, infinite ammo, 106,9 kph (XL180)
AC20 = 14 tonnes, 270 range, 20 alpha, 5 DPS 1.5 HPS, 14 shots, 74.2 kph (XL125)

MPL is clearly a winner IMHO. You can play it like a Death's Knell or CDA-2B (Sean Lang's favorite). And you have jump jets as well!

I've been playing against them quite a bit since they dropped and I have to say they really are about as sturdy as a medium.. I have fought several in my 3xMPL+3xSRM6 Griffon 1N or 4xML+2xSRM6 Griffon 1S the last couple days and while I can often down a Timber Wolf up close, an Urbie is often more trouble to work through. Heck I've soloed a Zeus in my Griffon before and had less problems then I have with urbies... I can strip their armor off, but the internals never seem to want to die...

STD 150 (or close to it, allowing to go at 81km/h)

2 medium laser, 1 er large laser
3 machine gun with 1ton of ammo.


1 Kill, 6 assist. And second in the leaderboard.

I sold my Kit Foxes (bought for cbills) and got the Adders. WAY better mech. I'd actually say the Urbanmech plays much like the Adder, which I found to be a more than servicable mech. Now if only I could unequip that flamer.... ;)

what this event is showing me is that if there's an event for kills go urbie- because i seem to get more kills than assists in these things. had one 4 kill 0 assist match earlier and a 3 kill 0 assist one a bit later on. usually in these events i can load up with assists even though i never get kills. i get 6-7 assists max with the urbie since it's tough for the little guy to actually run all over the map to get to all the enemy before they die :)

Being doing OK in my Urbie but for some reason I always seem to be a prime target. I've gone for a 3 MPL, 2 MG build and it's pretty effective apart from the fact that I never seem to be able to land the killing blow. I've got plenty of assists though and I'm achieving 200+ damage per match so I'm pretty happy so far.

The problem is all the bad urbie pilots getting under other mechs feet. Cannot even see those buggers when I'm 2x zoom.

I actually managed in a 1 vs 1 after a hard match to land on the head of a King crab... I only had to aim low and shoot his head. XD

I put the engine that comes default with the commando in, not sure whether to do anything more with it, I added 4 medium pulse lasers to the R60L.
