[Roadkill]

I accidentally landed my FS9-A on top of an enemy King Crab once, and then several days later had the favor returned by an enemy Timber Wolf that parked on top of my King Crab for a while.

Pretty hilarious in both cases.

I seem to recall this actually being a restricted action (i.e. you're not supposed to be doing it in actual matches since it messes up the hit-boxes of the 'mechs on top the 'mechs warp all over the place), but I have a hard time caring about that since it's TWO URBIES ON THE BACK OF A KING CRAB.

May I reference warping as the likely hitbox issues, though at that point you can't hit much of anything either, and may I also have you note 3:00 in the video. No hitbox issues there.

It's a fun thing that provides essentially zero to negative tactical advantage. (Unless you somehow got an assault on something fast, but that's just logistics then.

Oh I agree if that wasn't clear from my post.

It's the "riding a dual AC/20 KC on a 150 kph spider" that was the reason they don't want us to do it IIRC.

Not that I think they actually do anything about people stacking 'mechs, seeing as it's quite hard to get it done in the first place, and it's not really a viable match tactic.

Hahahaha! That B33f Video is one of my favorites

The laughing and the chaos on comms in that video is exactly what you would have heard in our TS during this little escapade. We lost, obviously, and it's not a viable tactic at all since urbies need speed to be survivable.

We had an awesome time laughing and I'm sure we gave the enemy team a good belly laugh, too.

I think this is hilarious. I once fell off a cliff in Veridian bog and landed on the Direwolf I was trying to get a shot at. Had zeroed the throttle and then slid. It worked for a sec because I got a few shots at his teammates and he soaked up most of their return fire as a put it in reverse and slid of his back. Doubt I could do it on purpose though.
I do see some tactical advantage here though, elevation is almost always an advantage and if your perch can move faster than you well great. Also if the urbies are running small stock engines going for mass alpha this would be a great way to get them deployed.

Well, exploiting to give yourself a significant advantage like putting a dire on top of a spider is what will get you in trouble. Putting these two urbies on the back of a slow-as-balls crab gave us a very significant disadvantage (the urbies didn't live very long at all lol), but it was for the lulz and great lulz were had by everyone
