For example; Some scout mechs (Either individual or as a entire chassis buff) receive a even further buffed sensor range to help them spot the bad guys better. Some mechs that could benefit from this would be units such as the Locust, Commando and the spiders. This way these mechs could preform the role of a spotter much better since they usually end up packing low weapon loads.
For lock times/lock decay mechs that would normally be reliant on LRMs would benefit most from this. (Maybe include this under a BAP bonus instead to prevent any thing getting too out of hand) With this bonus a mech would hold its lock for longer or achieve a lock faster. Some mechs that would benefit from this are the Kintaro, Catapult, and other missile carrying (Very little of other hardpoints) mechs. Same could also be applied to mechs who use streaks such as Oxide.
When it comes to BAP this one gets a bit touchy since it was buffed a longish time ago. But certain scout mechs (Or even heavy mechs) should still have a bit more incentive to use this item. While its current bonus' are nice, certain mechs (Again scouts as a prime example) should see a added bonus to using this item. So instead of the base 25% they say get 35-50% increased sensor range. (This way they have to spend tonnage to get this bonus.)
Kinda leaning towards buffing BAP for certain mechs and having slight to mild adjustments for other mechs instead of just buffing there weapon systems.
