So the urban mech has a 60std, but can any other mech use them, like oh say, the locust? Think about it... Assault loci, and maybe perhaps a viable use for that 30% ballistic range boost on the 1v :P
Super ac2 action at dwf speeds with no armor xD
You could put one and decent ammo with full armor, maybe a laser if you're worried about running out of ammo and still being alive xD

I recall somewhere that only the Urbie has access to the unique 60STD engine.

Patch notes say the STD60 is usable only by the Urbie.

Nope, it would be only -3 tons.

Here is the calculation:
+ 1,0 tons 60 rated XL reactor
+ 3,0 tons Cockpit
+ 1,0 tons Gyro (Reactor rating / 100 rounded up)
- 8,0 tons (8 external but weightfree heatsinks
=
- 3,0 tons total reactor weight in MWO

From yesterday's patch notes (emphasis mine):

Quote

A new engine has been added to the game to go in the UrbanMech's default loadout. Due to the manner in which we've reconfigured the weight of engines and other items in the 'Mechs, this engine has negative tonnage.

This engine can only be equipped on the UrbanMech.

Would need a minimum 100 rated engine... (Tonnage)*(Walking speed)=engine size for TT
