It was simply the easiest thing they had available to them.

Re-scaling problematic 'mechs, adjusting hitboxes, construction rules changes, etc would all take up more time/resources.

The Jenner is has a big CT side profile for a light, maybe if the model was resized slightly (10-15%?) so it was smaller and the side profile shorter.

i vote less center torso armor for jenners.

which would be stupid because then thered be no reason to use 95% of the mechs in the game. people would just specialize timberwolves and stalkers.
