Game goes into a loop when I try to save changes on my mech/skills/modules...seems random...happened a lot in the skill tree when unlocking new skills and especially when I try to equip modules...

Have to restart the client to fix it...

Looks to me if the game itself doesn't hang (task manager says it is still running), it is more like it can't finish the communication with the servers...never stops updating/saving...

When I go back into the game after the restart, the things I tried to do, are correctly changed...

Did you try disabling your AV-software/firewall and/or are your running the client with admin rights(you shouldn't have to, since they moved the profiles to "saved games" but who kowns ...) ?

Maybe those things might also help with your other problem.

Yup, I tried the whole list of self-help stuff ;)

That's why I had to post here...it is not like I have no experience with games in general, but hell...MWO is a beast, in 15 years of gaming, never had so many issues with a game before...

Mentioning what you already tried to fix it might help others to come up with something new to try. ;)

And yeah, MWO is "one of those games" that you have to try really hard for sometimes ... PGI is so lucky to have us poor robot-stomp-fanboys at their beck and call. No other "scene" would put up with this outside of p0rn-addicts.

That's true... ;)

- nvidia driver update / clean reinstall
- cleaning shader cache manually
- reinstall game
- run as admin
- checked internet connection/router options etc.
- no errors logged anywhere
- endless tweaking and fiddling with Nvidia settings

Even on my 2nd system I get the same problems...
Next step would be to carry my PC to a friend to be sure it isn't my internet connection...but seriously no...I can't stress enough that everything else I use on a regular basis, games, apps...are working fine...no (connection) issues at all...
