Hello Mechwarriors!

We're currently looking to recruit a Volunteer Moderator who can speak both English and Portuguese.

This Volunteer Moderator would communicate with us (The Devs.) on current situations and discussions on the Portuguese forums as well as moderate and possibly even run small forum events for this community, such as participation and contest type events!

Please post on this thread if you're interested!

But seriously, I already spend a few hours/day at the forums, so yes, I would like to candidate myself.

PS: I know (and play/played with) most of the Portuguese-speaking MWO players and I created one of the most popular threads in the forums. I'm also a Battletech geek for the last 20 years, played all MW titles and follow MWO since... well since the MW5 trailer. Finally, I'm fluent in English and Portuguese is my mother language...

Hello to all

Im Spadejack, been on the game since eraly closed beta, and i mean early...

I do know most of portuguese spoken players on the game (including Odanan lol) and i have worked with PGI before.
I hereby aply myself to be the moderator. I can surelly say that most of the portuguese and brazilian comunity on the game also knows me.

It is good to see some life back here in the forums,particularly the Portuguese section.

I have no wish to become a moderator so I wish you good luck.

I have a question to you both.

What would you promote and try to change if you was to become a moderator representing our small section in the community? Apart from the volunteer moderator tag what would you try and achieve?

I know both of you, Spadejack,Odanan.
Spadejack you know me well,Odanan ,you know me too as us 3 are founders.

I know you Catalina Steiner,you have done well both in the battlefield and over in our forums.Still comes to mind a few battles we fought before

How does the voting takes place?

A good moderator is someone who is impartial and promotes common sense. I hope that is taken into account,someone with a good sense of humour is needed. Forum activity is important as long as you both have not been spamming threads whilst not remaining impartial.

Good luck for both, I vote "aye" to both. If this indeed is a voting process based selection.

I believe we both would be glad to be the voice for the Portuguese-speaking members (some of them don't speak English).
Making the Portuguese section in forums more active, implementing some community-based events would be also very interesting.

Atualmente temos uma quantidade razoável de jogadores brasileiros, inclusive uma equipe exclusiva para falantes da nossa língua (INEX - Inferno Express) e o pessoal é muito ativo no jogo, mas não aqui no fórum. Aqui no forum existe essa parte só para gente que fala português, só que não é muito movimentada.
