It's quite good. Well, certainly not "firestarter good" but it"s really capable, is small (about as tall as a myst linx, but more compact and thankier). Packs a nice punch, and the ability to rotate it's torso endlessly is really usefull.

But, above all, it's so much fun. I'm having a blast riding that little thing, sort of like when i run my locust. But where it lacks in speed, it excells in firepower. I've tried many loadouts (2 mediums and a lpl, 4 smalls and an ac5, 4 MGs and a ERPPC) and all have worked so far. The best is the 2 meds+lpl, but the 4smalls+ac5 one is also a lot of fun, and quite effective, if you can land your shots. Won many 1vs1 against other lights, like jenners and ravens, won all of them.

I tought i'd get a fun but not-so-effective mech, but instead i got a really fun and quite ok mech, that if used in a support role, can be a real pain in the ass.

But stay away from streackcrows and firestarters (the spl and mpl ones), those things are deadly as ever...

In it's stock load out, even Atlas can outrun you.
Unless the team somehow manage to herd a wounded target your direction or the front line is pushing into you, be ready to see no action for the first 5 to 8 minutes.

After an engine upgrade to rating 125, they go 63kph, and thanks to the back-padding quirk, can be quite nimble around cover (map or bigger mechs).
Weight will be a constant problem, severely limiting your AC carrying capability.
Big energy weapon are good option.

Make yourself look none threatening or atleast a low threat target by sticking with assault lance.
There have been times where I shutdown next to a friendly king crab or direwolve, and being ignored by the enemy.

As to me, I think I've made my point sufficiently clear....

It's a POS, but I love it.

It's actually a capable mech when modded out, though one does feel kind of bad for running it anything but stock.
