Considering the framing of the questions, it shouldn't be surprising given my actual affinity to the Japanese culture, but I never really gave much weight to quizzes like this, so I tried again, this time choosing a few "close second choices ...

Steiner and Davion get a very strong penalty for everything Japanese in the test... can you tell me what really attracts you to the House Steiner?

Sort of a complicated answer that I'll try to sum up.

My tabletop Battletech / Mecharrior character Darrious Quinn was partially based on my actual genealogy of Native American & Scott. The TT concept was that he was from a dispossessed noble family (through typical political backstabbery). So in TT Quinn was more merc an less Steiner as he was hunting those who wronged the family, borderline Lone Wolf stuff.

Since the Lone Wolf thing doesn't really fit in around here, and even looked down upon in more instances than many would like to admit, I signed Steiner mainly for the sake of the characters history and backstory.

As for the quiz, I think you may have too much weight on specific questions. I retook it a third time before making this post, keeping all the same answers from my second quiz except for what language I wanted to learn. Instead of Japanese, I went Galeic and this is what I got. Nothing else was changed mind you.

I think overall you have good questions, but the weights are too extreme in certain cases but as few questions that are available. Clearly a shift in desired language shouldn't shift results so drastically where Steiner and Kurita practically swapped spots, but somehow Liao managed to stay in an unnervingly close second lol.

Its a good starts, but with a little tweakage to the weights and some more questions, it will be a great little quiz.
