I suggest we have a hired engineer in our MechLab.

He will gain experience as we bring our mechs in for repairs. He will start out with very basic skills, and get better as he is put to the test. He can make all the repairs you need, but he may have some difficulties with modding and upgrading at first. As he gets better he will be able to do more, and when he becomes really skilled he will start to save you a bit of cash by repairing the odd part that would normally have to be replaced.

You will be able to give them nicknames, you will have to train them so that they will be able to handle all sorts of mechs, clan technology etc.

One thing should be clear though, they should not block you from attaining some tech/mech but only changing the effectivnes of it.

There could also be some RPG elements in it with story progression when PvE hits the universe. You can also attain new members and will have to build up loyalty.

Also, this guy called Jimmy. He doesn't exactly have a job, but if you need something done or there's something in particular you're looking for, Jimmy knows a guy.

This ain't a bad idea. Should wait till all the most critical gamelements are in place and then maybe.....

In any case i hope the dev's are taking notes about this.
