It has become pretty obvious to me of late, that certain players are using third party software to gain an advantage in game, quite a large advantage. In far too many matches lately, these players are vaporising large amounts of armor and structure in far too short a time to possibly be playing on the same field as the rest of us, period.

I have been playing since well before the arrival of the Phoenix package, and while I have seen the odd bit of suspect happenings here and there, I have NEVER seen assault armor and structure disappear so quickly against certain players, especially in a 1 v 1 situation, and from talking with other players, I know that I am not the only person experiencing this phenomenon. Anecdotally, I have other reasons for my suspicions in this regard as well, macine gun laser macro, anyone?

Before those of you that are using these exploits, hacks, macros, or whatever the hell else it is that you are using start flaming me for this thread, I suggest that you all take a good hard look at yourselves, and perhaps try to find more healthy ways of dealing with your own feelings of inadequacy, perhaps even seek professional help, because if you persist, this game will die, and then you will need to go find another way to artificially boost your obvious poor self esteem, instead of, you know, practising hard to become good at something, like you have to in the real world.

At the end of the day, if this game stops being enjoyable for everyone that plays it, they won't play anymore, and all your epeen stroking about KDR, win/loss and everything else will be gone, and the game won't be there for ANYBODY, and that would be a real shame.

Fix it PGI, or you will all be looking for new jobs, and I will have lost my favourite game, and that would REALLY suck for all of us.

I'm not using any third party tools to play MWO and I am going to flame you anyway.

As EgoSalyer already noted, this is a topic that should be brought up with support. Discussing cheats, should working ones exist like you claim, will only promote them.

Proof or it's not happening. Certain pilots are just better than others, to the point where sometimes I will literally just sit still and not take damage against a mech with twice my firepower. Urbanmech feels like an assault mech against bad players and feels like paper against good ones, for example. Same applies to Dire Wolves.

I'm not sure exactly HOW people are doing this, kindly point out where I stated hacking was going on. I am not stupid, nor are lots of other people, I/we only know that SOMETHING is going on, if enough experienced players feel the same way, surely that is proof enough for somebody to at least look at possibilities. I don't video, and I am not interested in a witch hunt, nor do I care if most people believe me or not, I am only interested in perhaps getting somebody that matters taking a bit of a look into this.
