Doing this challenge, it becomes apparent what is lacking. Some way of either giving the lobby a name, such as "LFG 7 man" or being able to hard lock the number of people would be needed.

Not really, the only reason you need this lock size thing is the challenge, everyone using LFG feature after the challenge will try to fetch as many players as possible.

You can remove your group from the LFG queue by clicking the red "Leave LFG" button.
It won't kick anyone from your group, and nobody else will enter.
