I looked around but didn't see anything - could have missed a post....

I have a friend that just got the game and he is having some problems getting his head around it. I tried to do a private match so that he and I could "train" but I couldn't get it to work.

Is this even possible?

Best to you all,
Des61

It is, at least two people need to have premium time and be set as the leader of each side.

Then you can remove the 24 player requirement for a 'free' private match.

If you want, I can hop on and be the other person for ya.

Thanks Koniving! I'll see if he has premium time.

Thanks for the offer of helping in the map! We may take you up on it!

Best,

yup you need 1 player with active premium time on both teams and are company command to be able to turn Full teams off

a silly feature I know but that is how to do private matches without full teams

It's related to using a server without the full compliment of players. That way at least you're doing your part in helping them stay up.

Such was the reasoning given in not so many words.

So is there a way to "gift" premium time to my friend?

Does the gift store allow PT transfers? If not, you can probably do MC, with which he can buy a day of PT.

You can gift Premium time (https://mwomercs.com/gifts) but I believe you get a better price if you buy MC and do it in the client.
