Thanks Mate, As a hybrid i agree, its recognisable as a Vulture/Maddog.
Ive added a plate down the beak that i think is suggestive of the original CBT design

I've always liked the arms on the CBT/MW3 Mad Dog so much better than those on the MW4 Mad Dog. Very glad to see that you chose to use the CBT arms on this one.

Neat stuff. I have been watching you for years. You were an inspiration for my large scale mech work.

The temptation to skin them up with the cammo schemes i have in mind is great, but i know the extra time spent detailing the blanks will pay off Plates on rear and ankles

Awesome work. The first few shots where you had the torso, and legs assembled I was like "That's it that's a vulture", then I saw the later shots with the arms and remembered how many times I'd get winged and lose those arms :) Art is always powerful when it can bring back a good memory

AF, your work is amazing! I especially like the Loki.
Two questions:
About how tall are the finished 'mechs?
Would you consider building a 'mech to sell?

The second question has been answered by AF in another thread. Due to the time involved in building a mech, the risks of shipping one, and the personal attachment any craftsman has with their work, mechs will not be built to be sold.

The first question has been answered for other mechs, which range from about 3 to 10 inches tall. Not too sure what height he's building the Mad Dogs to.

Thanks people,
KE has answered the questions, i did just measure the Maddog and its 5 and a half inches to the top of the canopy.
My Atlas is just under 8 inches tall, the Puma 3 inches, the Lokis just over 6 to the top of the missile racks.

A couple of the other excellent modelers here do do limited runs of resin cast mechs, so keep an eye out for them

Not much to see in this pic, just a shot in the dark lol.

I in particular am enjoying the development of this build. I only have to turn my head slightly to the right to appreciate the skill of this guy.

Cant wait to see the finished result Mate!

Excellent work with the Vultures!
Are there any bluprints of them, or any other Mechs?

This could be a great new hobby.

I saw the Mad Cat / Timber Wolf in the background next to the Marauder.
If you have time you could put those up too ;))
