I've seen some post stating they will be available eventually, but I haven't been able to find an official announcement with a specific date.

Actually I was unaware you were talking about the Clan Skins and took the opportunity to be snarky for fun.
On a serious note. Do teh guys designing the Mechs also do the skins, or is that another persons' job? If thats the case You should have your skins by now I would think.

Different, I believe. Rumor has it that they've just hired a texture artist so this stuff should come faster. Good with me, I love the Kurita skin recolored and will buy it repeatedly.

So what 3-4 months for the clan skins (assuming its released on time). So sometime around late May-June is what I would guess.
however if they have a dedicated texture artist it might show up faster.

I would love Smoke Jaguar Camo to work on my Stormcrow Prime (I) mech, but I'm stuck with that crappy invasion pattern. If you like camos, it is almost a disincentive to pilot your best money earning mechs. Makes me so sad as a Smoke Jag that I can't pilot a Mad Dog Prime (I) with Smoke Jaguar camo!
I'd trade unique geometry for the normal skin with faction camo any day, just let me keep my 30% C-Bills bonus please!

That is actually an issue they need to adress, if you have Invasion mechs your actually paying 33% more than people that only bought a mechbay and ground C-bills for their's so your penalised for supporting the game as only two mech can wear faction/or clan colours

Cathy should know this already, being a Legendary Founder and having the four (F) 'Mechs with their unique geometry and skins.

When the founders package was available it was the only way into closed beta, unless you were given a beta key.
Also there were a lot more variants for each chasis, and in the case of IS mech you could grind C-bill basic colours and paint all your mechs. clan mechs are limited to a few small stripes unless you buy Camo patterns or buy the packages.
Back then you had three c-bill mech,(at least) and a hero, now with clans the HERO is by default the (I) chasis
Things back then, were a lot different than they are now

They have said they're looking into it/working on it. I'm not holding my breath, but I wouldn't abandon hope either. (Though I have to admit I've always like the Invasion pattern)

That's a huge backlog to be addressed... let alone the visual dynamic hardpoints for the last 5 mechs (Cicada, Commando, Dragon, Stalker, Awesome) which will require camo being redone.
