i definitely know you can buy kfx-c right arm because i (like almost any kfx pilot in the existence) already did it and i am 99% sure you can buy kfx-c left freezing arm too because i saw it available for purchasing in the mechlab as well. well 90%, 9% off in the case if i am mistaken

The reduced heat pods aren't currently available without buying from the store. Even when they do get released for free soon, they'll still be better than most of the other choices for those mechs.

You can't buy the pods yet. The KFX-C arm has been available for a long time, the rest of the mech just became available.

Right now I'm thinking quad cSRM4s with a pair of cLPLs. Depending on how the heat works out I may throw a cMPL or cERML in the CT.

ADR-B aka the B-ADR: Second ballistic arm.
KFX-C. Left arm with 2B and 2E. You can now have KFX with ECM, 3 energy weapons and 4MGs. Noice.
MLX-A. 2 AMS arm, I guess?
NVA-A. AMS side torso, opens up for triple AMS Nova. Pretty noice, I guess.
SCR-A. 4 E left arm. gglaservomit.
IFR-D. 2E right arm. The Ice Ferret desperately needs energy hardpoints, so that's good.
SMN-C. Same as stock Summoner with some different quirks.
TBR-D. Probably the most popular reinforcement mech. 2M side torsos without jump jets.
MDD-C. Another ballistic arm for the MDD.
DWF-S. Flying Daishi!
WHK-C. CT with energy hardpoint! Desperately needed for the WHK.
GAR-C. 6E right arm. gglaservomitz
I won't be buying any Mechs, just a few pods.
KFX-C for ECM, 3 x MPL, 4 x MG. Sounds fun even if it isn't great.
IFR-D... maybe. I'll have to play on Smurfy, but 2 more E-points might make it interesting.
SCR-A so I can upgrade my money farming ride. 4 LRM-5 + 2 CERLL becomes 4 LRM-5 + 4 CMPL.
TBR-D so I can ditch the jump jets I never use.
GAR-C for 6 CSPL + 4 CMPL. Won't be great, but will be an improvement.
That's probably it for me. I only use the Prime variants because for most purposes you can build anything on them and that ensures that I'm always getting the 30% c-bill bonus. Generally, 30% c-bill bonus > random weapon hardpoint for me.

How can you skip the asymmetric Wubhawk!?
Honestly though, the WHK-C is easily the best CT of all of them, it opens up a few solid new options.

A few reasons:
1. I like to have some guns on my left side so that I can assign them to left click, and vice-versa for right click. The asymmetric Wubhawk has 3 energy in the right arm and 1 in the CT...messes up muh style.
2. Having the left-right punch weapon grouping is just more intuitive in general, and just so happens to avoid paranormal heat.
Having 3 LPL in the RA could make weapon grouping not as intuitive, and would invoke the wrath of paranormal heat if all 3 were used in 1 group...
3. I think the mech just looks kewler when it's not outright sword-and-board. Its visual style was built around having at least some minor options on each side.

I do like the left-right weapon grouping idea. It's nice.
While I've been kinda disillusioned to the Wubhawk... this will eventually surface...
WHK-C
A slightly better Gausshawk is good.

Kitty 4mg + lazoers. Interesting. YES
Lynx needs another kind of arm: the F; we had the A. BIG NO, here.
Nova. "Poor nova", "Nova needs love"..... NO.
ScrA may be interesting; another kind of laservomit, more hardpoints, so a higher dps one. YES
Ferret, I like it in its meh-ity, with this arm prolly I'd like more. YES.
Summoner: did pgi really think SMN would need this? NO.
TDR-D. Indecided. Crow works better, 'cause it can close faster and spam its streaks and srms.
MDD ballistic. LOL NO.
The big flying pig. With JJ can be interesting, with HJ NO.
Warhawk with ct energy. Hell YES!
Garg with even more energy. I didn't buy the garg with wave 2, because I knew it was going to suck.... I don't know if I would give it a try. Indecided.

WubFridge approved... I hope. The reinforced missile side is "the trap" as I'm just using it as a shield and ammo dump.
The right side is where the real firepower is at.
Although this one http://mwo.smurfy-ne...83401d179a5985b
has more firepower, the same heat, but higher "pinpoint", less spread.

Basically any clan mech i play that gets an upgrade of any kind from these pods will obviously be getting them, but i doubt ill buy any of the base chassis, with the possible exception of the WHK-C.
