I got two months off work next week ( at double pay no less ) but im doing that because I have a vintage honda project bike to build.

An 83 xr500r that im transforming into a road registered custom scrambler :)

I better not waste it all on video games :P

I have to agree that CW is not doing well.

Tried to do a few rounds yesterday...there were people on 4 planets.
Nobody attacked a planet and on the defended planets there were 50%-100% more defenders than attackers.
We continued with normal drops and checked back after every match, but nothing changed.

PGI better release this for Steam soon and pray for more players.
But get that new UI running before that.

It feels like 500 people are playing every evening. Mechwarrior, still, is a far better game than any World of Tanks, Warthunders, or Warplanes. It should have a lot more people.

CW is dead....went to actually try it again and there is like 8 people in queue??

solo queue, wait times are extreme right now even for low queue classes. I'm waiting 5 minutes to get into a round???

CW has extremely low population. And the pug vs premade matches stop any intelligent casual player from entering a ganking 4x death match. No, really, honestly, I like being killed instantly on drop 4 times by a premade! Its really competitive and a fun overall experience

BASICALLY they are all pub'ing their new Urban Mech's ...

Should be better, because all the backstory, lore and fluff was written years ago for pgi to fill in and make the game richer as a whole. It is not better because PGI has a small staff and is unable to crank out content like wargaming. Lucky for us the forums here and the player base are not as toxic as wot, at least not yet.

I would like to have the player count displayed like it used to be. Though I really do not think russ would allow that to happen

I flew some Warthunder today, even that's pretty empty. I blame GTA.

Like everyone is saying. It's boring, a huge waste of your time and pointless. They should just take it down and focus on more maps for regular matches.

Hell I say they do what they are doing for cw only in regular matches but only like 2 waves instead of 4 can get more cbills for...**** nevermind mwo is so boring!

Why I refunded wave 3, I'm just done spending money on this.

I myself have been enjoying brutal half life.

Dude steam will rek this game, not enough content for steam players to be bothered spending money on. Will quickly dry up.

There is enough content for years! And CW are friendly to PUG players, as I am the one who plays them constantly.

Well, there are games on Steam which offer far less content.
At least normal matches are fun in MWO...for the most part...sometimes...

Pillars of Eternity (remember baulder's gate 2?), GTA 5, work, more work, overtime, and more overtime.

I'm holding off on GTA V for now since I played through it on PS3. I will get it eventually.

I do plan on getting Pillars of Eternity soon. I've seen and heard really good things about it.

guess I'm glad I didn't attempt to play CW if it sounds just as bad as its been since launch.

It was just odd yesterday with the solo queue having long wait times. It is normally not liek that at all.

and yea 5 minutes is a LONG time for me in solo queue, i normally never wait that long, maybe a minute or two unless I chose something where a high percentage.

I think CW is fun, but really its most fun in a 4-6 man or so, because running in a 8-12 man seems to result in just obliterating everything too easily. Carrying hard and doing like 10k dmg between 5 players to win the game never gets old though.

Spoiler

Tbh the only side of it i really don't like is when i am defending on invasion mode and the other team decides to play objectives instead of fight. Win or lose its fun for neither side, and the map is getting reset.. why do it? What possible benefit is there?

That sounds like a cool project. It always surprises me when I see bikes that old still running strong. Do you take that thing out on dirt still?

I try to get out to the MX track at least every weekend with my 03 Suzuki RM250. Always a fun time.
