so there has been a good amount of talk about Clan Heros,
most agree we will get them, but arnt sure when exactly we will get them,
they also arnt sure on how they will be implemented as because of Omni-pods,

=How i see Clan Heros=
1) Released like other Hero/Champion Mechs,
2) Hero/Champion 30% C-Bill Bonus is Locked to Omni-CT Only,
3) Omni-Pods may be removed and changed as per Normal Omni-Rules,
4) Other mechs may equip Hero Omni-Pods, but you can not buy Hero Omni-Pods,
5) New(Extra) Hero Omni-Pods Only Available with purchase of another Clan-Hero,


now Clan Heros i can see that would be worth Buying,
(0 represent New & Unique Omni-pods currently not in MWO),

ECM Timby would make P2W complainers explode out of anger so that will probably never happen. This would also be a really good build even without an ecm and adding it might make it a bit op.

The Direwolf looks quite weak and therefore it might be possible. Then again it looks almost too weak so it might not happen either atleast not without some tweaks.

The way they should be made is that the "hero omnipods" are only usable by the hero mech and nothing else.

I can't see an ECM timbie happening. Just won't. They're careful to avoid Hero mechs being flat out improvements over the regular chassis. And really, an ECM timbie with swappable omnipods would be an instant "best mech in the game must buy".



How I would design can heroes:

1) Hero mech cbill bonus applies to the CT.
2) omnipods can be removed and changed as normal.
3) other mechs can equip said omnipods, but you can't buy more. That is, the omnipods you get on the hero are all you get.

It has a Light Tag in the CT( only piece of FutureTech)

Well if we are going to have clan hero mechs, lets try to keep it for actual clan heros. PGI does not need to make any up like they have in the past, there are plenty to choose from. Not to mention they could use this to fill in the back story and for once actually add some much needed depth to this game.

Prometheus, um no. Clan tech. Not a clan Pilot. Therefore not a clan hero "mech"

Perhaps Natasha Kerensky's Widowmaker variant. True blooded warrior that came back home. works for me.

Aidan's Timby, perhaps. Though a tricked out summy would fit better as he used it most of his life.

Maybe the Executioner that Vlad used during that welp Phelans trial would be unique. Tough only used once it would be different. (twin gauss, two large and 4 med pulse)

Joanna's Hellbringer, or Maddog.

Dianna's Nova or Warhawk.

That is to just name a few. All of the represented invading clans have high profile characters that would work well for this theme. As far as it happening any time soon, do not hold your breath. PGI will likely wait till clan mechs are further nerfed before putting the idea forward. Likely to avoid the QQ cries and the likely witch hunt that would follow (mob chanting "kill the wallet warriors)
