At least inside the base.

Just use H vision. I hate heat vision so I pop in & out of it. There are open areas in there if you look for them.

Agree, it's a problem. Also, attacker drop points need to be closer together. Defender drop points need to be closer together and farther back.

I think its horrible. Everywhere I tried to run its like running into trees. I think they need to reduce the tree clutter. Basically the map is fine, but it needs some refinements in the drop locations and reducing (not eliminating all) the tree clutter.

You have to think about pollution, inside the base the trees are going to cut a serious amount of pollution. You need to think about the health of your men

As elite mech warriors you need to keep yourself fit, going running in the hils etc, without the trees etc its going to be less aesthetically pleasing to the hill runner!

Not to mention about animal habitats.
Bears **** in the woods, no woods, no bears or wood peckers, or catterpillers which means no butterflies

There's a HUGE difference in the definition of "Kill Zone" that's used in common military terminology and what Canadians think it is, I guess.

I like the excess trees. They block sight and make gameplay more dynamic because you can't quite see what's in front of your face half the time.

The only thing I don't like is I think they are responsible for the absolutely terrible and unplayable framerate I get on the map.

Noooooooo leave the trees, and just implement the prop destruction please. so weapons/mechs can erradicate forests!

Well I posted my view on this map already. I just want to add that destructible environments are something I would absolutely love to see be used in MWO.

Evergreen trees, on a hot day, after a series of hot days, burst into flames when you light them - and if there is wind, these flames race along the treetops. You want small clumps of trees, fine.... but having trees standing on the only defensible platforms, or clogging the obvious pathways... or fire lanes... no.

You clear the trees... not just for defensive fire lanes... but to prevent your base from burning to the ground in fire season.

I do like the trees.
Target pops up and you get the targeting reticule and fire and ...there is a mountain between you and him!
Love it!

Says the man on a team that stacks heavy ECM mechs to HELL and back.

I'd be all for the trees except the current clan ECM spam is still out of hand, and will continue to be so until BAP range is extended to 750m or reduced to 1/2ton & 1slot.
