Hello ladies and gents,
My nick name is assaiL but the name was already taken so Liassa It is. I'm 27 years old, Canadian. I have very recently gotten into MWO this is my second week, I feel like I'm picking up the game quite well I have a lot of time in FPS games.
My current mech load out is:
Orion x1
Wolverine x1
Timber Wolf x1
5 Mech bays
I plan on spending some money tomorrow(17th) and purchasing the rest of my timber wolves, then working towards some more medium mechs as I enjoy them a lot.
I am currently perma locked to wolf but would consider changing that, however I'am aiming for clan mechs. I am looking for an active yet some what casual clan, I'm going to need mentor-ship on the finer details of the game, loadouts, skills ect. I want to find a clan that fits me: I swear a lot, I don't like religious rhetoric, I love to joke, Im pretty friendly and I say sorry a lot (forever Canadian).
A little of my gaming background:
I am Diamond V in League of Legends(this season then quit...sick of the community.)
Long time Lineage 2 player(I hop on once in a while.)
DayZ(Not playing it again til its at least in beta **** that game so much que salty.)
Diablo 3: ROS (top 100 last season on leader boards burnt myself out on the game.)
Hearthstone(Still pretty active not crazy competitive in that game though.)
Counter Strike 1.3-CS:GO Cal-M ect.

If you are looking for a casual clan wolf unit, come check out the Star Wolves (SWOL). We have a mix of new and experienced players and do not mind teaching new members as long as they are willing to listen and learn. We have a mix of lore/RP elements, but not to the extent of units like CWI or CWDG (ie, we do not have sibkos, if you know what that means).

PS: Do not go and spend money to buy the last two timberwolves if you plan on leveling some mediums, and also plan on playing Community Warfare. You might be better off spending money to buy 3 mediums (stormcrows), and then using the C-bills earned from leveling those 3 mechs, buy your last two timbers that way instead. Timber + 3 Stormcrows gives you an immediate top tier dropdeck for use in Community warfare, where as if you bought 2 more timbers, you would be stuck using some trial mechs to fill out a dropdeck.

Thank you very much for the information on other clans, I just googled "sibkos" wow that's pretty dedicated to lore lol. I will take a look around the site and your recruitment post.
I was also told that crows and timbers are the way to go so that was my goal ultimately. I have not delved into clan warfare yet, so I will be sure to try and check that out a little more today.

3 crow/timber is the "cheapest" in terms of cbill/real money investment to get a top tier dropdeck. There's other top tier combos which include hellbringers, but that means having to get either 2 full sets of 3 mechs to get elited efficiencies on both, while you can run 3 elited stormcrows and a basic'ed timber until you buy the last two timbers.
Send me a PM or friend me in game if you would like to join up, we are around 320 members now. If not. no hard feelings and good luck with your unit search

Hi there! Welcome to MWO!
I can vouch firsthand for SWOL. Good group, from what I've seen, I have a lot of respect for them. I'd definitely recommend checking them out.
However, if you are looking for something smaller sized and even more causal I lead a group I think you might really like. Fun is always our top priority! Most of the time that means blowing up enemy 'mechs. Sometimes it means trying to stack 'mechs on top of each other. Or running special builds. Yet somehow we are still competant. lol
I'd love to play together sometime and I'd be more than happy to give some advice.
(Also, ignore the Liao symbol... we are Clan loyalists... the mech bay rewards are just too tempting to pass up. Completing a tour then going Clan for life.)

If you`re interested in a more lore based Clan wolf experience you should consider Clan Wolf International. We`re a very large (260+) unit with players at every skill level you can imagine. We have players from all around the world, including myself from Canada. We train any and all skill levels, and welcome casual as well as competitive type players.
If you`re interested check us out at clan-wolf.info
That being said I can also vouch for the guys over at SWOL, they`re always fun to drop with!
