An interesting thought I had was what about using a Conquest/Assault control point that has to be held (can not be reversed for balance) that would open the O-Gens?

This would mean that if the point has to be held for say 30 seconds to a 1 min regardless of how many mechs are in the zone.

It would require that this capture point be taken first.

The capture point would be an "HQ" building.

Points:
One time capture point for the Attacker. On Invasion only.
Around 30 timer to capture said point.
Capturing said point would then activate the O-Gens.

This adds multiple objectives to what is a campaign simulator.

My other suggestion would be that Vibro Mines be added. Hard set them to say 35 tons. Sure you can zerg rush, but you chance getting blown to bits by placing your foot wrong.
