Positive Constructive Critism...
I want community warfare to succeed and enjoy the invasion mode/Loyality Ranks, though can be expanded greatly. Though the mission modes like counter-attack with its simplistic have the most kills demoralizes people into players not caring for strategy.

Preamble...

First thing I want to clarify is that we know from the first game mode (invasion), strategy is more important than kills. There is a actual objectives that are far more important than kills as loyalty bonuses get better as the player gets rank. All of community warfare seems to want to promote strategy play for the meta game and battles. The counter-attack mode was not thought out and is far too simplistic with its kill count goal in terms what PGI started to do with at least invasion.

The Idea..

The goal is to change Counter-attack mode to be much more strategic, so players can be outwitted by intelligence, battle situation awareness and flanking maneuvers.. Any constructive comments that can also encourage this I welcome.

First there is a new area located behind the base, connected by a pathway surrounded by man made walls only a light could jump over. The new area leads to a stationed dropship (Very well armed) that is waiting for retreating units. Once the mobile Field base of the defenders are destroyed, all allied mechs are required to retreat back into the stationed dropship. The time limit unit the dropship takes off is 6 mins, after which any friendly units are left on map. After the mobile field base is destroyed, any damage/kills made by the enemy team are rewarded. Until Stage 3 of CW is enabled give a reward to retreating mechs if they are able to reach the dropship and get inside.

Any units that did not reach the dropship are bombarded by orbital spaceships cannon shells. Units that were on the offense (were part of the team that destroyed the mobile field base) are considered friendly to the orbital spaceship.

What this does and what would need to be added

-Adds a objective that is not related to kills at all, instead a strategic objectives
-Adds a layer to the Strategic side of CW in stage 3 to conserve your mechs.
? If repair and rearm is enabled this would be even further a positive benefit...
-Maps need to be re-edited to have this new area and a more powerful dropship needs to be created for ingame.
