It is a "choice". If "you" have it and find MWO as a good outlet spend it. If "you" have it and don't find MWO as a good outlet, then don't spend it. It is not Rocket Science ffs.

Nor is there some Grand Conspiracy underway at PGI.

It is "your" money. "You" do what you feel is best for "you". But please, never ever presume to tell "me" how I should spend "my" money.

" " indicates a general individual and not anyone in particular. :)

Problems?
I don't understand what that has to do with what I said... oh well no big deal.

I stopped buying MC and stuff a few months after I bought Phoenix pack. The Phoenix pack was meant to be the "Sorry we'll fix things but we need funding" pack. Eventually I realised the name of the game and the only other mech I bought was timberwolf for the P2W.

Right now, I don't really bother playing the game. The strategies for winning are still the same and hasn't changed.

The core audience of this game has been reached and quite a few have already left in hopes someone else will do something better. While the core game play is boringly sound, it lacks any ingenuity and ultimately unrewarding. My wallet speaks volumes, it is speaking elsewhere.

Core game issues need to be fixed. Its a mess getting friends together, you don't know where you will drop or what time of the day... all things that make a difference and have been borked from year one. Sadly this game feels like a first gen multi player game from the 90's with its sad in game options for friend management and chat.

Not gonna lie. The latest Resistance variants by Alex Iglesias are really testing my resolve.

So much of my money is lost because of his beautiful work.

Alastair, I agree that our wallets are our ballots; I just have to take issue with the things you find a priority.

Game modes, game modes, game modes. The one unheralded reason people leave this game is boredom. There's nothing to do. The game modes are simplistic, the maps too few (though they've stepped that up), and once you've played one team deathmatch you've played them all. It is the biggest poison to this game's retention levels. CW didn't help the game because it was CW; it helped because it was a new game mode, Attack and Defend. It's what got people checking back in. I can almost guarantee that the return would have been rougher for the population levels had CW been played out on River City.

And with PGI continuing to adhere to the meticulous design process that's native to the software industry, we're getting one game mode per year. It's just not enough. Players need variety and depth to their combat, somewhere to go once their current mode gets boring, and we need somewhere to put larger maps. Turkey shoot, escort, territory control, Solaris, single-player/co-op missions...these are must haves, they made all the previous MW titles worth playing, we're not getting any until 2016 based on what we heard in the last Townhall, and the 4vs4 scouting missions in CW...new maps? Team deathmatch again? We don't have solid information.

Give people fun, varied, and interesting game modes, and watch every other issue dwindle into a manageable nuisance.

Yes, please.

Don't worry, if you can hold on until screenshots of the model come out, you shouldn't have any trouble resisting.

Hmm, that's actually a very good point. And a la carte purchases don't receive any early purchase bonuses anyway, so I've got nothing to lose by waiting.

Thanks! :)

I bought into Resistance Wave 2, but I reserve the right to change my mind on that pack (downgrading to just the Wolfhound) if PGI offers a new pack when Clan Wave 3 is being released.

There's nothing in the current trajectory that suggests that'll things will improve immensely with respect to the NPE, especially when the global focus is on Steam and not so much CW.

As long as you remember the in-game models will be much uglier as usual, you'll be fine.

Hmm. Personally, I feel the ingame models have saved just as many as they supposedly ruined.

Well, until you get to the whole weapons scaling thing,

Kinda find all those bullets as minor, compared to some of the bigger things I'd like to have PGI do.
