Well, I am looking forward to this event.

For roleplaying I have altered the camo colours on my IS mechs to take on the Comstar livery of white/grey with yellow highlights. I might stand out like dog's balls on the battle field but I aim to have me some fun - win or lose.

Anyone else going to take on Comstar/Guard colours?

Anyone taking bets on how long it'll take the 12man and bigger teams to figure out the MM algorithm for this and then start gaming the drop system? 2hrs? 4hrs? 6hrs?

I predict a slow start. Then a flood of gaming the drop system leading to massive zone ownership swings thru the middle of the event, and then - if a counter is found, a rally near the end of counter flooding - if no counter found, its over by hour 16.

I am planning to represent Clan Goliath Scorpion as it is just like from lore:


But I am planning to use some Clan Wolf Camo though since the Scorpions played some important roles for Clan Wolf's history (Assistance of the Widowmaker Absorption, Formation of Clan Wolf's Elemental Armor, training of the Wolf's Dragoons unit, etc). I will probably mix the camo with my unit colors depending on how well it looks.

I wish the clans were actually honor bound, instead of honor-less spawn campers, using tricks and broken game mechanics to cheat their way to winning.

What you meant to say was, "I wish the opposing teams followed a silly set of rules that don't make sense in today's gaming world so I don't get my ass handed to me when I PUG drop."


Clan didn't use Zellbrigen when waging war against the IS because after initially adhering to offering batchalls and Zellbrigen to IS forces the IS didn't respect it (They didn't even know what it was) and thus showed (from the Clans view) themselves unworthy of being shown honor.

I've played both sides and honour - less spawn Camping happens on both sides.

Well gee, Maybe because It is a series I grew up with and Cherish dearly? Maybe it is because MW2 3 and half of 4 doens't work on modern systems any more? Maybe because this is what Living Legends got a CnD for? Maybe because if people screw up something, Which they have, You tell them about it and hope even with the slightest, that they see it and listen.

I was one of the far more forgiving people till I realized how little of a reason they have to actually be forgiven any more.

When Team Ninja screwed up Metroid Other M, The fans could of had two choices, Let Nintendo know they think the game sucks and is terrible and even offensive (which they did) or shut up, forgive them and risk getting more games done terribly like that that fail to live up to the series legacy of good quality

Well, guess what chucky butt? We can't even risk possibly getting "Another game" of Mechwarrior relatively soon because this is a F2P MO, (has lost and not earned back its 'Massive' part of the name) So chances are, it will have a lot more likelihood of just sitting there as this shell of a game that does not do a 4th of what any of the actual titles did, while blocking anything else that may come down the pipe from people who actually care or are good at it.

The balance is actually pretty good at the moment, well as long as you use a timberwolf or stormcrow

And just ignore the ENTIRE REST OF THE INVENTORY for the Clan mechs, you forgot that.

Oh and you'd need the IS to be a bunch of stupid pubs as well. Any team work and even if the clanners work together they're still going down.

Unfortunately true. Clans have two great chassis but the rest are not up to scratch.

For those complaining I think you expect too much from a game, this game is great for what it is, could they flesh it out more? Sure but it seems like they are working on that, so just play the game for what it is and have fun.

Either way we all know Kurita will be in force smashing clanners like usual
