Does this mean we will see a Black Knight and one of the above assaults in the new mech pack???

Well, it's another Grab Deal.

Chances are, the BK will get an ECM hardpoint... the rest... go figure.

I don't see a light or medium listed though...

offcourse its a grab deal.. they need money injects after every 1.5 months i would say (which is clear the game only generates money via these deals)

but which assault will they give i wonder...

and not a huge population plays lights or meds vs assaults or heavies (the qeue percentage says this)

No, IS 35 tonner.

Phelan did have one with Clam tech equipped....uh oh, mix tech Hero.

for once i would have a medium which is not in the mechbay after 2 weeks...need something that is good enough to make people switch from heavies (less queue)

Crab would kinda compete with the Enforcer... the 50-tonners is pretty crowded.

The 55-tonners is even more crowded.. and the Hoplite seems like a bad idea. The Dervish would easily surpass the Kintaros (well, if the Griffin didn't already do that).

The only good thing about the Hoplite is it actually has an ECM variant, but we already have the Griffin 2N.

2N will be better. The primary listed variant on sarna... oh god. Ammo-only mechs... just a bad idea.

I know everyone loves the 35tonners and thinks that is the only thing in the light category but it just just feels wrong, also it saddens me that we get another humanoid looking mech.

Well, 35 tons has been a sweet spot for a while now.

Besides the Flea, what IS sub-35 tonner would you want in the game?

Bonus points if you can suggest a legit 25-tonner.

The Dervish is basically a symmetrical version of the Griffin 2N (4 missile, 2 energy) without ECM so I'd thumb it down too. I guess that leaves the Crab -or maybe the Crab's replacement, the Starslayer.
