Play the 3F. Prophet.
And yes, the Stalkers are the best 85 ton mech right now, and one of the most potent chassis of the entire game.

The answer of "play something else" is antithesis to the entire point.
Potent or no, more torso twist isn't going to make or break anything. It's just a good quality of life improvement.

1. 3F is still a Stalker, bro.
2. Twist can make or break a mech. Especially on a mech that is already good.

If the Stalker had any more torso twist it would probably be one of those extremely rare things that genuinely would be OP (rather than OP-because-it-killed-me-once) which would only serve to further consign all the IS assault mechs except the Wubshee and dakka-Crab to the nostalgia-but-never-used category. As it is now, when was the last time anyone saw an Atlas-D/K/RS/BH, any Highlander, any Battlemaster or any any Awesome in a high level match?

The 3F has the best Torso range but the 4N is currently the Meta to play...
but I still prefer my Misery... which I waited patiently for 8 Months for go on sale when it was first released back in May 2013 (on sale first time in Jan 2014)... Still one of the best Hero mechs in the game..
Stalkers do not need any buffs at all... infact... stop talking about it because when you ask for buffs you usually get nerfs...

The Stalker is very good. This is one of its few weaknesses. Changing that would definitely make it OP. What are you going to ask for next? A bunch of high energy mounts on a Timberwolf?

It is you that is missing the entire point. The limited twist keeps it from being even more potent. Adding more twist pushes several stalker models into imbalanced/OP levels. So yes, it would break things.

If the amount of twist bothers you run a 3F.
Here are the yaw with master tier unlocked.
3F 102 deg
All other Stalkers 72.
Yaw speed is almost as important as degree,
All variants 99 deg/s with the STD300, 84 deg/sec with the stock STD255
This makes the 3F the best brawler out of the bunch.
I run the 3F with a STD 300, 4 ERLL, 2 lrm5 and 10 double heatsinks. 62.9 kph with a heat management of 1.23 and 540 lrm. I wish they did it like MW4 and less weight equals more speed because this loadout comes in at a trim 83 tons.
While people bang on about the 4N any Stalker variant has the potential to go lrm or laser boat equally well and this 3F loadout is downright wicked in CQB thanks to the amount of yaw and can outreach a LL 4N by nearly twice the range.
